To be candid let me say that I never considered blogging. My main focus on having my own photography website is to tell stories through images and to share them with the world. My wife and mother-in-law, whose opinions I value, suggested some time ago that I take notes when I go out to create images to help supplement my photography. After giving it some thought I actually did this on two big trips I was fortunate enough to take this year to the western United States and Iceland.
Upon returning from these trips I actually looked back at the notes a few days, weeks and months later and found they were a powerful reminder of my experiences and I think they will also be helpful to you, the viewers. With that said you can expect posts to accompany much of my photography from my travels as well as other updates when I am doing street photography here in the NYC area and other locations.
